RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Electrical Engineer [Construction Discipline Engineer (CDE) – Electrical (Field Engineer)] - Engineering (CO102) Electrical Engineer - Construction Discipline Engineer [Field Engineer] is responsible for planning and technical oversight of field construction activities within a specified discipline associated with procurement, fabrication, installation, modification, and maintenance of systems and components.Coordinates with Design agencies to ensure timely issuance of new designs or design changes.Walks down and reviews designs for constructability, resolves design problems encountered in the field during construction, and meets with Design Engineers to discuss solutions.Inspects / verifies materials, equipment, and construction workmanship and assures compliance with drawings, specifications, and code requirements.Coordinates with Quality Control to ensure the installation meets the requirements.Participates in turnover activities. Supports/ participates in start-up and functional check-out of equipment and systems.
