Respiratory Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Nurse (RN) to join our interdisciplinary team at Advanced Healthcare Center in Toledo, Ohio. As a Respiratory Nurse, you will provide comprehensive respiratory nursing care to residents with tracheostomies, mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and other chronic respiratory conditions. Responsibilities:

• Assess residents with respiratory conditions and identify changes in respiratory status

• Provide specialized nursing care for residents with tracheostomies and mechanical ventilators

• Monitor oxygen therapy, non-invasive ventilation (CPAP, BiPAP, and AVAPS), and respiratory treatments

• Collaborate with Respiratory Therapy regarding ventilator management, respiratory treatments, and resident care planning

• Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans

• Recognize and respond promptly to respiratory emergencies and changes in condition

• Ensure accurate documentation of respiratory assessments, treatments, interventions, and resident responses

• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory disease management and respiratory equipment
