Dental Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to our patients. The Dental Assistant will assist the dentists with chairside procedures, patient care, and office duties.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
- X-ray certification preferred
- Previous experience working in a dental office is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
- Assist dentists during dental procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records
- Perform office tasks such as answering phones and handling billing inquiries

Skills:
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in taking dental impressions
- Familiarity with dental software systems
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
