We provide structured, hands-on training to help you learn our processes and equipment.
Pay & Shifts
Base Pay: $19.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience
First Shift
Monday–Friday
6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
Second Shift
Monday–Friday
1:00 p.m.–9:30 p.m.
Additional $2.00/hour shift premium
With the second-shift premium, qualified employees can earn up to $27.00/hour for qualifying second-shift hours.
Employees selected for second shift may initially train on first shift before moving to their regular second-shift schedule.
What You'll Do
As a Production Technician, you'll work directly with our manufacturing team to produce advanced composite materials while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and consistency.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operate and support manufacturing equipment and production processes.
- Set up, start, clean, change over, and shut down assigned equipment.
- Prepare, measure, identify, and handle raw materials.
- Follow work orders, production instructions, formulas, specifications, and schedules.
- Monitor equipment and process conditions to maintain consistent product quality.
- Perform measurements, inspections, sampling, and in-process quality checks.
- Accurately complete production records and required system transactions.
- Package, label, move, and stage raw materials and finished products.
- Identify and report equipment, material, quality, or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.
- Support material movement, inventory, shipping/receiving, and other production activities when needed.
- Cross-train on multiple processes and equipment as you develop.
- Communicate production status and issues during shift handoffs.
What We're Looking For
You may be a strong fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have previous manufacturing, machine-operation, production, warehouse, mechanical, or industrial experience.
- Are comfortable working with your hands and learning manufacturing equipment.
- Can follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
- Have basic math, measurement, computer, and problem-solving skills.
- Pay attention to details and take pride in producing quality work.
- Understand the importance of workplace safety.
- Are dependable and punctual.
- Work well as part of a team.
- Are willing to learn new processes and cross-train.
- Can complete initial first-shift training if selected for second shift.
Experience That Will Help You Stand Out
We are especially interested in candidates with experience in:
- Aerospace or composite manufacturing
- Prepreg or unidirectional materials
- Machine operation
- Resin systems, fiber handling, laminating, coating, slitting, or roll-to-roll equipment
- Plastics, chemicals, textiles, converting, or other process manufacturing
- Quality inspections and measurements
- Controlled manufacturing documentation
- ERP/MRP systems or electronic work orders
- AS9100 or ISO manufacturing environments
- Forklift or material handling
Don't have composite experience? Don't automatically count yourself out. Strong manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, reliability, and the willingness to learn are important to us.
Physical & Work Environment
This is an active manufacturing position. Employees must be able to stand and walk for most of the shift; bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks; and lift or move up to 50 pounds. Assistance or material-handling equipment is available for heavier items.
The manufacturing environment includes production machinery, chemicals, noise, and temperature variations. Required PPE must be worn at all times.
