Corporate Attorney
Job Description
An established New Jersey firm is adding a corporate attorney to its transactional practice.
This is deal work with your name on it. You will run documents and closings, not sit third chair.
What you will do:
Draft and negotiate merger and acquisition documents. Work private equity transactions from term sheet through closing. Run due diligence and manage closing checklists. Advise on entity formation, governance and commercial agreements. Work directly with clients and opposing counsel.
What you have:
Five or more years of corporate transactional practice, including M&A documentation, private equity transactions, due diligence and closings. New Jersey bar admission is required. New York admission, or a transferable UBE score, is a plus but not a requirement. Healthcare transactional experience is a strong plus, not a prerequisite. Writing samples will be requested.
The details:
Full-time, in office in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Base salary $155,000 to $170,000. Full benefits.
