Position Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

Location: Bethesda, MD

Duration: 13-week contract with possibility to extend

Pay rate: $25/hr.

Scheduling options: 7 am - 7 pm OR 7 pm - 7 am

Overview

• This is a per diem, patient-specific assignment.

• Assignments are based on current patient needs and may vary from shift to shift.

• Scheduled shifts may be canceled before the start of the shift or end early if the patient's condition changes and 1:1 care is no longer needed.

• One full day of orientation and a 3-hour caregiver education class are required prior to your first assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one (1:1) patient care and continuous observation for patients requiring individualized support based on their clinical needs.

• Serve as an Enhanced Isolation Monitor when assigned, ensuring patient safety and adherence to infection prevention protocols.

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining a safe environment.

• Complete all required orientation and caregiver training before accepting assignments.

• Work flexible per diem shifts based on patient care needs and staffing requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent experience in a hospital setting is required

• Active CNA certification

• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification,

• Must be able to pass a background check, and drug screening
