Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $94,000 – $100,000 per year (Full-Time Permanent W2)

Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, proactive Maintenance Manager to direct hangar and shop operations in Georgetown, TX (Austin Metro). Reporting directly to executive leadership, this leader will manage technical maintenance execution, FAA regulatory compliance, shop safety, technician mentoring, and station inventory control. This role is ideal for a seasoned A&P leader who excels in general aviation environments, makes decisive airworthiness determinations, and thrives in driving operational throughput.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and oversee routine servicing, scheduled 100-hour/annual inspections, unscheduled repairs, and airworthiness releases across the GA fleet per FAR guidelines.
Lead, mentor, and train maintenance technicians on technical procedures, safety practices, and level-specific servicing standards.
Partner with the Director of Maintenance to maintain full regulatory compliance, enforce hangar safety protocols, and oversee station safety inspections.
Manage station spare parts inventory to minimize fleet downtime without excess stockpiling; ensure all shop tooling is calibrated and technical data remains current.
Minimum Requirements
Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate in good standing.
Minimum of 5 years of recent hands-on General Aviation (GA) maintenance experience within the last 10 years (post-graduation using A&P license), focused on single-engine piston platforms.
Demonstrated hands-on maintenance experience on piston aircraft platforms (e.g., Cessna 172/152, Piper Archer/Cherokee/Seminole, Diamond DA40/DA42, or Cirrus SR22).
At least 2 years of proven supervisory, lead mechanic, or shop management experience in a GA environment.
Possession of a standard personal set of hand tools appropriate for GA servicing.
Ideal Qualifications
Active FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) license in good standing.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and technical communication capabilities.
Proactive self-starter capable of managing priorities under minimal direct oversight in a dynamic flight environment.
