About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation, therapy, and consultation services for students in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support communication development and academic success.

Job Duties

• Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services
• Complete assessments, progress reports, and required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
• Provide evidence-based intervention targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies
• Recommend accommodations and strategies to support classroom participation
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Appropriate Texas Education Agency credential or authorization for school-based practice, as applicable
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; eligible Clinical Fellows may be considered
• Completion of required supervised clinical experience
• Knowledge of IDEA and school-based service delivery
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
