Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential occupational therapy services to students across multiple school sites. Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Louisiana
- Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working onsite across four schools
- Willing and able to supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to travel between school sites as required
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver onsite occupational therapy services to students at multiple schools (high school and elementary)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs, aligning with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families for holistic support
- Assist in fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough, compliant documentation
- Provide supervision and mentorship to a COTA
- Advocate for student participation and access in academic and extracurricular activities
