Qualifications
- Current and active Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required)
- Recent experience in a school setting; early childhood center experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working on-site (remote and hybrid work is not available)
- Background working with self-contained classrooms is beneficial
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Two positions are open; candidates must be available for full-time work (35 hours/week, 4-5 days)
- Educator credential is not required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students, with a particular focus on early childhood populations
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans for students with a variety of speech and language needs
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support each student’s educational development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies and interventions
