Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a supportive school environment serving students from transitional kindergarten through fifth grade. This full-time, maternity leave coverage spans from mid-October to early February, offering a chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of young learners.

In this role, you’ll be paired with an experienced Supervising SLP via teletherapy, ensuring collaborative guidance and plenty of professional support. Before starting, you’ll have the chance to connect directly with your supervising SLP to foster a strong working relationship from day one.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three months experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a school setting
  • Current, active California SLPA license
  • Comfortable serving an elementary caseload (TK–5)
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus, though not mandatory
  • Team player eager to learn and communicate openly with supervisors and staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted speech and language interventions to elementary students under SLP supervision
  • Implement individualized education plans and track student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school team to facilitate student success
  • Document services and support in accordance with school and licensure requirements
