As an itinerant Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you’ll collaborate with supervising OTs to deliver high-quality therapy services to students with mild to severe needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, valid in Arizona
• Ability to obtain or possess an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, especially with a range of student needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable managing a caseload across multiple locations
• Commitment to fostering student development and independence

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Travel between approximately three school sites to meet student needs
• Collaborate closely with supervising occupational therapists, teachers, and other specialists
• Document interventions, track progress, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Adapt and implement therapeutic activities tailored to each student’s abilities
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
