School Occupational Therapist - Newport, New Hampshire

Exciting contract opportunity available for two licensed Occupational Therapists with experience in schools. Based on-site near Newport, NH, these positions offer the unique chance to provide essential supervision and collaborative support to dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) within a vibrant school community. Each role is responsible for up to 20 hours per month, directly impacting student success and team quality.

In this role, you will:

Responsibilities:

• Offer direct, on-site supervision for up to two assigned COTAs within public schools
• Deliver an estimated 7 hours per COTA of supervision each month
• Complete and maintain all clinical and supervision documentation efficiently and on schedule
• Collaborate with district staff, COTAs, and other professionals to ensure high-quality services and regulatory compliance
• Participate actively in staff discussions and contribute to the best outcomes for students and teams

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of New Hampshire
• Demonstrated experience supervising COTAs within a school-based environment
• Strong understanding of state guidelines, compliance, and best practices in educational settings
• Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills

This on-site contract position provides competitive hourly compensation, as well as reimbursement for actual travel to and from the district for supervision duties at the current IRS mileage rate.
