This contract position focuses on providing speech-language services in a dynamic school environment, empowering young learners to reach their fullest potential. You’ll work part-time—14 to 15 hours per week—serving one campus exclusively and fostering strong relationships with your caseload across two full days.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum Master’s Degree from an accredited university in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Active Colorado Department of Education Certification
  • Current Colorado SLP License (Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist—serving ages birth through 21)
  • Previous experience with mild to moderate school-based caseloads is preferred
  • Up-to-date with fingerprinting and background check requirements
  • Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to a mild-moderate caseload of students
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication goals
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports as required by the district
  • Provide expertise and training to educational staff concerning speech-language development
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
