Qualifications:

  • Active MSW license in Pennsylvania.
  • Must have direct school-based experience.
  • Meets PA Dept. of Education requirements:
    -- Hold a valid PA School Social Worker Educational Specialist certificate, OR
    -- Have an emergency permit, be a LSW or LCSW, and be enrolled in a PDE-approved program.
  • Able to secure all required PA clearances.
  • Comfortable and committed to working in urban educational settings.
  • Ready for Zoom interviews.
  • Must be onsite, not remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver social work services across middle or elementary school populations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide student-centered support.
  • Participate in case conferences, IEP meetings, and family outreach.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention, group counseling, and individualized care.
  • Maintain comprehensive records and adhere to best practices.
