About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation, therapy, and consultation services to students in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ communication development and academic success.

Job Duties

  • Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services
  • Complete assessments, progress reports, and required documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
  • Provide evidence-based intervention targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
  • Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
  • Recommend accommodations and communication strategies
  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Indiana Speech-Language Pathologist license through the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Appropriate Indiana Department of Education credential/authorization for school-based practice, as applicable
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred; eligible Clinical Fellows may be considered
  • Completion of required supervised clinical experience
  • Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and school-based service delivery
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
