Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Physical Therapist to support students across multiple school sites in the Bennettsville area. This contract role is well-suited to professionals experienced in providing therapy to K-12 students and ready to make a positive impact in a dynamic educational environment. The position combines both onsite and virtual (VOCO) duties, providing a blend of hands-on and supervisory responsibilities.
What we’re seeking:
- Active and current Physical Therapy license for South Carolina
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric physical therapy setting
- Comfortable working with K-12 student populations
- Ability to supervise a licensed PTA for provision of VOCO therapy services
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills for supervision and paperwork
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to work both onsite and virtually as needed
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality physical therapy services in-person to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Oversee and guide PTA handling VOCO (virtual) therapy services, ensuring compliance and care standards
- Complete related paperwork, maintain accurate documentation, and provide consultative support to educators and families
- Develop individualized treatment plans and track student progress toward goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to student care planning
- Adapt interventions to accommodate students with a variety of needs and abilities
This contract offers full-time, consistent hours with 37.5 hours per week onsite, plus an additional 20 hours per week dedicated to virtual supervision and related paperwork. The assignment runs through late May 2027, giving you the chance to form meaningful connections and make a sustained impact.
