What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Alabama Educator SLP Certification (may begin with “pending” status)
• Previous experience in school-based therapy preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload of up to 60 students
• Proficient in conducting speech/language evaluations and developing comprehensive plans of care
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
• Committed to culturally responsive and inclusive practices

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Deliver engaging therapy services and evaluations to students onsite
• Work at either a single campus or split assignments among two or three nearby schools, depending on placement
• Maintain organized records of therapy outcomes and progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to optimize student achievement
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to individualized student planning
• Ensure compliance with regulations and school policies
• Foster an encouraging and positive learning atmosphere
