Position: 2nd Shift Mailroom Operator
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM
Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour
Job Overview
Kelly Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Mailroom Operator to join our team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for preparing outgoing metered mail and ensuring all items meet strict quality standards for date, postage, and barcode accuracy before entering production. In addition, you will collaborate with team members and help resolve machine-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare outgoing metered mail, verifying the accuracy of date, postage, and barcodes
- Identify and report errors as well as poor-quality barcodes
- Troubleshoot and clear machine jams to maintain smooth mail processing
- Perform other mailroom and production tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Basic English comprehension to follow safety and operational instructions
- Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts as required on short notice
- Strong dependability and reliability
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with or without accommodations
- Capability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend up to 80% of the shift, with or without accommodations
