Step into a dynamic on-site role providing essential speech-language services at elementary campuses near Houston, TX. This contract position offers the chance to make a true impact in early childhood education, working directly with students who benefit from your communication expertise. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while focusing on delivering comprehensive speech-language interventions and supporting student growth throughout the school year.

What we’re looking for:

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Minimum of one year school-based SLP experience
  • Previous work with early childhood populations (EC, pre-K, kinder, or similar) is especially valued
  • Ability to manage a full-time elementary caseload
  • Experience supporting self-contained special education students is a plus
  • Comfortable working exclusively on-site in a school setting (no telepractice)
  • Passionate about supporting student success and collaborating with educators and families

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and implement individualized therapy for elementary students
  • Conduct group and one-on-one interventions targeting language, articulation, fluency, and voice
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to develop student goals
  • Communicate progress clearly with families and the educational team
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district requirements
  • Contribute actively to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

This is a full-time contract position (35 hours/week, 4-5 days per week) beginning as soon as possible and extending through the end of the school year (June 5, 2027).
