Step into an engaging opportunity supporting early childhood learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position begins in August 2026 and extends through May 2027, offering you the chance to guide and empower students while working alongside a supportive school team. With a standard 37.5-hour work week, you'll play a pivotal role in students' foundational communication development and supervise an SLPA to elevate the quality of service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP State License and current Educator Certificate
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in school-based or early childhood settings preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50-55 students
  • Prior supervisory experience or willingness to mentor an SLPA
  • Ability to commit to fully in-person is ideal, but strong hybrid candidates with at least three on-site days and supervision capability will be considered

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for early childhood students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Supervise and mentor an on-site Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and provide ongoing communication with caregivers and staff
