Step into a rewarding contract role serving students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. The assignment begins September 1, 2026, and continues through May 20, 2027, with 20 hours per week worked at a single elementary school.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold active Texas SLP licensure—unfortunately, candidates requiring Clinical Fellowship supervision cannot be considered at this time.
  • Demonstrated experience in school-based testing and direct therapy for student service plans.
  • Ability to quickly complete Texas state fingerprinting requirements if not already in the system.
  • Skilled in communication, organization, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs as outlined in their service plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and assist with eligibility determinations.
  • Document progress meticulously and contribute to student evaluations and meetings as required.
  • Work closely with classroom teachers, administrators, and parents to support student goals.
  • Maintain compliance with state and school policies regarding documentation and reporting.
