Job Description
We are seeking five dedicated individuals to join our Sanitation Team at a new GMP Food Production Plant in Nashville. This role involves the critical task of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the plant, ensuring a safe and efficient production environment.
Responsibilities- Sanitize the plant, including floors, belts, and machinery.
- Perform master sanitization of areas such as the dock, warehouse, dry mixer, and wet mixer.
- Adhere to the 7 Steps of Sanitation daily.
- Disassemble machinery for cleaning and protect sensitive electronics and switches.
- Rinse equipment surfaces using warm potable water, ensuring no visible soil remains.
- Collect and dispose of floor solids appropriately to prevent drain blockage.
- Apply detergent foam to surfaces, ensuring complete coverage and scrubbing heavily soiled areas.
- Inspect and clean equipment to confirm all contact surfaces are free of soiling.
- Sanitize and disinfect equipment as the final step.
- Experience in industrial sanitation or food production sanitation.
- Knowledge and application of the 7 Steps of Sanitation.
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexibility in adapting to a start-up environment.
- Experience with GMP and FDA guidelines.
- Familiarity with janitorial duties in a food manufacturing setting.

Work EnvironmentJoin a brand new, climate-controlled plant equipped with highly automated machinery. Initial training takes place from 11:30am to 8pm over the first two weeks to familiarize you with production processes. From the third week onward, shifts move to overnight hours, from 11pm to 7am, Monday to Friday, with voluntary weekend work available for deep cleaning tasks. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
