Desired Qualifications:
- Current Michigan teaching certificate with valid Math Endorsement (please ensure all certifications and licenses are up to date and attached to your application)
- Strong background in general education, with successful experience teaching high school mathematics
- Ability to build rapport with diverse learners and adapt teaching strategies to meet student needs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proactive, collaborative approach to working with colleagues, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging math instruction aligned with state and district curriculum standards
- Differentiate lessons to accommodate varying learning levels and styles within the classroom
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support
- Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Participate in faculty meetings and professional development throughout the school year
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behavior
