Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid Florida SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) accepted
• Experience in school settings preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication strengths and needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the IEP team
• Deliver targeted therapy sessions to help students reach their communication goals
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation of assessments, progress notes, and reports
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing expertise and contributing to team planning
• Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students’ success in the classroom
• Use a variety of evidence-based resources, techniques, and technology in service delivery
