What we’re looking for:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas (CCC required)
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Experience working in schools, especially with elementary-aged children
- Familiarity with self-contained classrooms preferred
- Commitment to on-site work (remote services not available)
- Ability to start as soon as possible and remain through June 5, 2027
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessment and therapy to elementary students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and families to foster optimal student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Adapt therapy plans to meet diverse student needs, including those in self-contained settings
- Serve as a resource and advocate for bilingual English-Spanish language development
