What You'll DoAs a Machine Operator, you'll play a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating equipment, inspecting products, and helping keep production running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities- Operate manufacturing equipment according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Monitor machines during production and identify potential issues before they impact quality or output.
- Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and gauges to verify product specifications.
- Read and follow work instructions, production schedules, and basic mechanical drawings.
- Utilize computer systems to support production tracking and logistics activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with material handling, assembly, packaging, and other production-related tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to improve safety, quality, and production efficiency.

- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude.
- Previous machine operation experience.
- Forklift experience or certification.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, or tape measures.
- Experience with CNC equipment or automated machinery.
- Ability to read basic blueprints or mechanical drawings.
- Experience using SAP, Microsoft Office, or other manufacturing software systems.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henrico, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
