As a Machine Operator, you'll play a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating equipment, inspecting products, and helping keep production running smoothly and safely.

• Operate manufacturing equipment according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Monitor machines during production and identify potential issues before they impact quality or output.
• Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
• Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and gauges to verify product specifications.
• Read and follow work instructions, production schedules, and basic mechanical drawings.
• Utilize computer systems to support production tracking and logistics activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with material handling, assembly, packaging, and other production-related tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to improve safety, quality, and production efficiency.

• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shop, or hands-on environment.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices.

• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Dependable attendance and positive attitude.

• Previous machine operation experience.
• Forklift experience or certification.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, or tape measures.
• Experience with CNC equipment or automated machinery.
• Ability to read basic blueprints or mechanical drawings.
• Experience using SAP, Microsoft Office, or other manufacturing software systems.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henrico, VA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
