Multiple contract opportunities are available for passionate, dedicated SLPs to support students with a variety of speech and language needs. Positions involve both therapy and assessments, ensuring a dynamic and rewarding experience. You’ll work onsite at supportive schools with structured caseloads that will not exceed 60 students, promoting optimal care and job satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Alabama ASHA certification
- Alabama Educator SLP Certification (active or pending—may start pending approval)
- Experience providing speech therapy and evaluations in school settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt to serving students across multiple campuses if needed
- Dedication to helping children reach their full potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver both individualized and group speech-language therapy for K-12 students
- Conduct evaluations and write comprehensive reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams, including educators and family members
- Maintain student records and document progress according to state and district requirements
- Travel between assigned campuses as needed
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insight for student support strategies
