This contract position offers meaningful, hands-on work with a focus on the DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) student population, spanning from Pre-K through high school. The role includes the possibility of traveling between locations, supporting multiple campuses as needed.

The primary responsibilities involve conducting thorough audiology reports, providing clear feedback and consultations to school staff, and serving as a vital resource for teams supporting DHH students. Expect frequent consultations, collaboration, and the chance to directly impact educational outcomes for students with hearing needs. While the current Pre-K caseload includes 9 students, additional caseload numbers will be shared during the interview. The position is open to candidates preferring full-time hours, but those interested in a reduced schedule are encouraged to express their availability.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid active professional state license to practice audiology in Kansas
  • Licensure from the Kansas Board of Hearing Aid Examiners or appropriate credentialing authority
  • Master’s or doctoral degree in audiology
  • Experience working with children and the DHH population is strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and consultation skills
  • Ability to travel between campuses within the organization as needed

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments and prepare reports
  • Consult regularly with educators and staff regarding student needs
  • Participate in collaborative team meetings and provide expert feedback
  • Support individualized education planning and program development for DHH students

Enjoy a dynamic school environment where your expertise helps shape student success. If you have the required credentials and a passion for impactful audiology services in educational settings, take the next step in your career. Apply today to support DHH learners as part of a dedicated, mission-driven team.
