Speech Language Pathologist in Royal Palm Beach, FL
Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in West Palm Beach, Florida. In this full-time, contract role, you'll play an integral part in helping students overcome communication challenges and succeed in academic and social settings. The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule during regular school hours.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Prior experience working in school settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, services, and student outcomes
- Deliver services in both individual and group settings, adapting methods to meet diverse student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide consultation and education to staff and families as needed
