School Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) in Manchester, NH

Embark on a rewarding school-based contract as an LPN for the 2026-2027 academic year! Two experienced and compassionate LPNs are needed to support students across a diverse K-12 caseload in the Greater Manchester, NH area. This is a full-time opportunity (35–37.5 hours per week), running from August 2026 through June 2027, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on student well-being and health.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active LPN/LVN license in New Hampshire (or eligibility for state licensure)
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting is highly valued
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to manage a range of health needs, emergencies, and daily care in a K–12 population
• Organized, dependable, and compassionate approach to nursing care

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing services, including medication administration, treatment of acute and chronic health issues, and emergency response
• Maintain accurate, timely health records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Partner with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student health plans and promote a healthy school environment
• Educate students and staff about disease prevention, healthy habits, and first aid
• Provide support for special needs students and participate in the implementation of Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) as needed
