Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP state license and Educator Certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Proven experience working within school settings, particularly with early childhood populations
- Comfortable managing caseloads ranging from 50-55 students
- Previous supervisory experience or willingness to oversee an SLPA
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite full-time; open to a hybrid schedule for candidates able to supervise an SLPA, with a minimum of three days in-person
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to early childhood students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Maintain thorough documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and required reports
- Supervise and mentor an SLPA, guiding clinical practices and supporting their professional growth
- Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other related service providers to maximize student outcomes
- Stay current with best practices and legal requirements pertaining to school-based speech-language pathology
