Physical Therapist Assistant in Cheraw, SC

You will collaborate with remote supervision to ensure students receive top-quality supportive care.

Key Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina PTA License required
• Experience providing school-based physical therapy preferred
• Comfortable working independently while maintaining regular communication with a supervising PT (remote/VOCO supervision)
• Confident managing caseloads covering elementary, middle, and high school students
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to accommodate diverse student needs
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver in-person physical therapy interventions to a K-12 caseload as prescribed
• Implement individualized treatment plans, tracking progress and updating documentation accordingly
• Communicate regularly with supervising PT for guidance and compliance with state practice guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student participation and learning
• Travel among multiple school sites as scheduled
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential student records

Contract Details:

• Position available for an immediate start, extending through May 27, 2027
• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, during school operating days
• Onsite, in-person services only—virtual work is not included
• Supervision provided remotely by a dedicated VOCO PT
