Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Merrimack, NH

Step into an exciting opportunity supporting students as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a dynamic school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position offers full-time hours (35-37.5 hours per week) working with a diverse K-12 population. With two positions available, you’ll play a vital role in fostering student wellness and creating a welcoming, safe environment for all.

Qualifications & Experience

• Current and unencumbered LPN or LVN license
• Pediatric, school-based, or similar nursing experience preferred
• Experience with K-12 caseloads or a strong passion for school nursing
• Excellent ability to communicate with students, families, and staff
• Strong assessment, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• CPR/BLS certification

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and compassionate nursing care to students across all grade levels
• Administer medications and treatments according to district and physician guidelines
• Handle acute and chronic health conditions, including emergencies
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure confidentiality
• Educate students and staff on health, wellness, and safety practices
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and allied professionals to support each student’s health plan
• Assist with health screenings, immunization tracking, and health-related documentation
