Ready to make a difference in the lives of K-12 students while applying your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)? A dynamic and rewarding contract opportunity is open for the 2026-2027 academic year in the greater Tacoma area. In this full-time position, you will work in an onsite capacity across the district, partnering with dedicated educators and supporting diverse student needs.

As the BCBA, you’ll play a crucial role district-wide, providing assessment, planning, and supervision. Your impact will also extend to guiding Behavior Support Assistants (BSAs) to ensure program fidelity and best practices.

What we’re looking for:

  • Active BCBA certification or eligibility/willingness to obtain WA BCBA license
  • Fingerprinting clearance through OSPI, or willingness to complete this step
  • Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents in K-12 educational settings
  • Strong ability to collaborate within school teams and effectively communicate with staff and families
  • Commitment to onsite work (virtual/remote options are not available)
  • Prior supervisory experience with behavioral staff or paraprofessionals is a plus

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Conducting behavior assessments and developing intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Supervising and mentoring district-wide Behavior Support Assistants
  • Providing consultation and training to staff to enhance positive behavioral interventions
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement IEP strategies
  • Maintaining compliance with special education laws and ethical BCBA guidelines
