Step into an engaging contract opportunity as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) dedicated to supporting students across K-8th grade levels. Based onsite, you’ll contribute your expertise as part of a specialized bilingual speech evaluation team. Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Arizona SLP State License and Educator Certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) required
- Bilingual proficiency needed, with strong knowledge of evaluation practices in school settings
- Previous experience working with K-8th grade students, especially in a culturally diverse environment, highly preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive, bilingual speech and language evaluations as part of a district-wide team
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary staff to interpret findings and make appropriate recommendations
- Travel between school sites as needed, ensuring timely completion of evaluations across the district
- Document assessments and progress following district, state, and federal guidelines
- Maintain accurate records and provide clear, compassionate communication to students and their families
- Provide consultation and support services as required for each evaluation
