Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and current Kansas SLP License required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- School-based SLP experience preferred, though motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Skilled in assessment, therapy planning, and direct interventions for a variety of speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with school teams and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students (caseloads range from 20 to 55, depending on assignment)
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote students’ academic and communication success
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as district policies
- Deliver services both onsite and remotely, as appropriate
