Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid and current Kansas SLP License required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • School-based SLP experience preferred, though motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Skilled in assessment, therapy planning, and direct interventions for a variety of speech and language disorders
  • Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with school teams and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students (caseloads range from 20 to 55, depending on assignment)
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and track student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote students’ academic and communication success
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as district policies
  • Deliver services both onsite and remotely, as appropriate
