Minimum 1+ years Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience and CNA certificate required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A fulfilling opportunity is available for a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide essential care and support to high school students. This position involves working closely with students exhibiting behavioral needs, ensuring their well-being throughout the school day.

Schedule:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00am–3:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
  • August 2026–June 2027

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential
  • Experience supporting children or adolescents, especially those with behavioral challenges, is highly valued
  • Compassionate, patient, and calm demeanor in a school environment
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift, transfer, or assist students as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care assistance, including feeding, toileting, and other daily living tasks for students
  • Support students’ participation in classroom and school activities
  • Implement care plans as directed by education and healthcare teams
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for students with varying needs
  • Document care provided and communicate relevant updates to the appropriate staff
  • Work collaboratively with educators, behavioral staff, and parents
