About the Opportunity

Our growing financial services client is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Specialist to support tax compliance, preparation, and review functions. This role is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys working independently, collaborating with clients and team members, and handling a variety of complex tax engagements.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review individual, business, partnership, and trust tax returns
  • Research tax issues and apply appropriate solutions
  • Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve tax-related questions
  • Assist with reviewing work, supporting team members, and sharing technical knowledge
  • Maintain organized documentation and workpapers
  • Stay current on tax regulations and compliance requirements
  • Support special projects and assist during peak tax seasons
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting or a similar environment
  • Strong knowledge of tax compliance and reporting requirements
  • Experience preparing complex tax returns
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
  • CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
  • Experience with tax and accounting software is a plus

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
