School-Based Physical Therapist - Cheraw, SC

This contract opportunity involves working across multiple school sites, with a blend of in-person and remote (VOCO) duties. You'll deliver direct, onsite care and oversee VOCO services, ensuring high-quality outcomes for students.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid and active Physical Therapy (PT) license issued by South Carolina
• Background in school-based physical therapy, with comfort working with K-12 populations
• Capability to provide both in-person and virtual care; flexibility is a must
• Experience supervising Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs), particularly in a virtual/VOCO environment
• Solid communication and organization skills to handle documentation and remote supervision requirements

Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on, school-based physical therapy services to students from kindergarten through grade 12
• Complete on-site therapy sessions and assessments as needed
• Oversee and supervise a licensed PTA for VOCO service delivery
• Manage 37.5 onsite hours plus 20 hours/weekly VOCO dedicated to supervision and paperwork
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support student success and facilitate optimal care plans
