Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational environment in the Denver area. This part-time, onsite contract position involves providing essential speech therapy services at a single school location, Vega Collegiate Academy, with a mild-to-moderate caseload.

This role allows you to dedicate your expertise two full days a week, working with students across a variety of age groups to facilitate communication growth and success in their academic journey. As you collaborate with a supportive team of educators and specialists, your contributions will make a tangible impact on each student’s confidence and communication independence.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university
  • Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) Certification
  • Active Colorado SLP License (Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist for ages birth through 21)
  • Prior experience with school-aged children preferred
  • Ability to complete district-specific background check and fingerprinting requirements

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students with mild-to-moderate needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educational staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s unique goals
  • Monitor, evaluate, and document student progress
  • Remain current on best practices and professional trends within school-based speech-language pathology
