Job Description
Embark on an impactful contract opportunity as a speech-language pathologist providing services across multiple school locations to K-12 students near Burlington, NC. This full-time position is available for the 2026 academic year, spanning from August 18, 2026, through June 10, 2026, and requires a commitment of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Your expertise will play a pivotal role in supporting students with diverse speech and language needs through Voco SLP services in a school setting. Collaboration and adaptability are key as you serve students across various grades and handle a range of communication challenges.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active North Carolina SLP license (required before start)
- Prior experience in school settings and with K-12 populations
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery
- Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver direct therapy
- Engage with students across multiple school sites, both in-person and via telepractice
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to monitor progress and promote student success
- Maintain accurate records, manage caseload documentation, and support compliance efforts
- Provide consultation and training to educators as needed
