Maintenance Tech/ Handyman min 3 years exp

We are now accepting resumes for our apartment maintenance tech/Handyman opening for Stallard & Associates in Indy. A typical day for this position would include doing various jobs inside and outside of the apartments. Following up on work orders & preventative maintenance program. Perform the necessary work to get vacant apartments rent ready. We are looking to hire a detailed, hard working person that has the drive to work independently or in a team setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Handle work orders that we receive and perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.

Do various tasks needed to get vacant apartments ready for new move in.

·Maintenance duties will vary as needed inside and outside of property so we need multi skilled person that can do light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry duties.

· Assist other team members as needed on 2 man jobs.

On call requirements are 1 week ever 5 weeks.

· Job hours are Monday thru Friday from 8:00-5:00

· Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, tools and a clean criminal background are required

Qualifications and Skills

· Perform basic plumbing such as replacing hot water heaters, sweating copper, fixing leaking faucets, and leaking p-traps under sinks, install new toilets, etc.

· Perform basic electrical duties such as changing out breakers, light fixtures, replacing outlets and switches, etc.

· Finish Carpentry

Perform painting, caulking & drywall work
