Experienced Electrician Residential & Commerical

Dempsey Electric is seeking an experienced, hands-on electrician to join our team. We perform residential and commercial electrical work throughout Ventura County and the greater Los Angeles area.

Applicants must have approximately 2–4 years of ACTUAL hands-on electrical field experience. We are not looking for someone who has simply worked around the electrical trade for several years. You must be able to demonstrate that you can actually perform electrical work in the field and are comfortable using the tools of the trade.

The right candidate should be able to perform common electrical tasks such as:

• Properly use drills, power tools, and standard electrical hand tools
• Run, bend, and install EMT conduit
• Pull wire and make up boxes
• Install and terminate receptacles, switches, and lighting
• Work with branch circuits, panels, and electrical equipment
• Perform basic troubleshooting
• Read and follow basic electrical plans
• Work efficiently as part of a small electrical crew

This is not an entry-level helper position. You do not need to be a foreman or master electrician, but you must know how to perform electrical work and be productive in the field.

Applicants must be dependable, show up on time, have reliable transportation, and be willing to travel to different job sites throughout Ventura County, Pacific Palisades, West Los Angeles, Downtown Los Angeles, Pasadena, and surrounding areas.
