They will also maintain styling and upkeep of wigs for all productions.Essential FunctionsPre-setwigsandmakeuppriortoperformancesReadamakeupmapandapplymakeupaccordinglyAssisttheperformerswithquickchangesinbothhairandmakeupSanitizewigs,makeupsuppliesandactorstationsdailyAdhereto/enforceallrulesandregulationsrequiredbytheActor'sEquityAssociation, including Covid-19 additionsAdheretoandpromoteallOccupationalSafetyandHealthAdministration(OSHA)and maintain a safe work environmentMaintainflexiblescheduleforworkcallsespeciallyduringtechweeksContributetotheoverallsuccessoftheProductionDepartmentbyperformingany additional duties and responsibilities assignedQualifications / Skills / AbilitiesExperiencewithavarietyofwigstylesandcurrentmaintenancetechniquesKnowledgeandexperiencewithspecialtymakeupapplicationsAbilitytolift20lbsMustbeabletorunshortdistancesandusestairswhilecarryingabasketMustbeabletostandfor2-3hoursduringtheshowrunPreferred: at least 2 years of professional work experience in a live theatrical environment as a wig/makeup crew member or equivalent educational experience. Housing is available at $50 per week. This is an IATSE represented position, but you do not have to be an IATSE member to apply.
