The Reserves Network is partnering with a nationally recognized leader in orthotic and prosthetic care to hire a Patient Care Coordinator. Your New Role:
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will provide front office and administrative support to patients, clinical staff, and referral sources. Daily responsibilities include:
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Creating and maintaining patient charts and records
  • Scanning, filing, and organizing medical documents
  • Managing incoming phone calls and inquiries
  • Obtaining insurance authorizations
  • Processing payments and assisting with account collections
  • Providing financial counseling to patients
  • Conducting billing and document research within electronic medical record systems
What You Need:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Less than 1 year of customer service, administrative, or related experience required
  • Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one
  • Strong computer and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a professional medical office environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as NextGen or OnBase
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical insurance terminology
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Typing speed of 40 WPM
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and office equipment
  • Basic accounting and administrative math skills
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the day
  • Frequent use of hands for office equipment and computer work
  • Ability to occasionally bend, twist, reach overhead, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Strong verbal communication and visual focus abilities
