Family Partners of Minnesota is looking for a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our overnight team in Rochester, MN. Responsibilities:
- Provide overnight supervision and direct care support to individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities
- Assist residents with personal care needs including hygiene, mobility, and medication administration as needed
- Monitor the safety and well-being of individuals throughout the overnight shift
- Document and maintain accurate shift notes, incident reports, and daily logs
- Respond calmly and effectively to behavioral or medical situations following established care plans
- Support individuals in maintaining a comfortable, safe, and dignified living environment
- Communicate effectively with incoming day staff during shift transitions
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred
- Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout overnight shifts
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Must pass a background study as required by Minnesota DHS
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to person-centered care
