Job Summary:
GoodLife Adult Day Care, located in the heart of Essex County, East Orange, NJ, is seeking an energetic and caring Activities Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our adult day health care program, you will assist the Activities Director in coordinating daily activities, facilitating outings and shopping trips, and developing monthly activity schedules. Responsibilities:
• Coordinating daily activities and facilitating outings and shopping trips for our participants
• Assisting in facilitating monthly participant council meetings and developing monthly activity schedules
• Providing support with meal services to ensure a positive dining experience for our participants
• Collaborating with the Activities Director to plan and implement a variety of recreational and therapeutic activities
Qualifications:
• Minimum high school diploma required
• Experience in recreation/activity program preferred
