Regional Director of Human Resources

Location: Lakeland, FL | Regional Travel Required

A growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Regional Director of Human Resources to oversee HR operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities throughout Florida. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an HR professional who can support facility leadership, strengthen HR teams, and drive compliance and employee engagement.

Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000 DOE

• Oversee and support HR teams across multiple skilled nursing facilities

• Partner with Administrators and leadership on HR strategy and employee relations

• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and company policies

• Manage complex employee relations, investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance management

• Lead initiatives focused on retention, training, and employee engagement

• Monitor turnover, absenteeism, and other key HR metrics

• Support FMLA/leave administration, workers’ compensation, and union relations

• Coach and develop facility HR Managers and promote consistent HR practices across the region

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field

• Proven HR leadership experience; skilled nursing or healthcare experience strongly preferred

• Multi-site HR experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to travel regularly between facilities throughout Florida
