Assistant Manager in Training

About the Role

Jersey Mike’s is looking for a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the General Manager to keep the restaurant running smoothly while providing an outstanding experience for every customer.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work, and wants to grow their leadership skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

• Help lead and motivate the restaurant team during daily operations
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure guests have a great experience
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Maintain Jersey Mike’s standards for food quality, cleanliness, and safety
• Train and coach team members
• Help manage daily staffing and shift assignments
• Monitor food preparation, inventory, and product quality
• Handle customer questions and resolve concerns professionally
• Support the General Manager with daily administrative and operational tasks
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed
• Lead by example and maintain a positive, professional work environment

• Previous restaurant or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working as part of a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical restaurant duties
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
